Creating
databases for song groups or CD's
From the 'File' menu choose 'Create New Database', and enter the
name of your new database.
This will create a blank database and also set it as the default
database.
You can change the default database at any time from the 'File'
menu.
Now use the Add/Update to manually add songs to the database, or
use auto update with to add songs from from specific directories
Example - create a database of all songs on a CD
Create a new database.
Place the CD in to the drive, select 'Auto Update', use the drive
box to select your CD drive, leave 'Include Sub-Directories' checked
and press OK.
You now have a database of all the songs on that CD
From the 'File' menu select 'Set Default Database' to return to
your original database. |
